| General Anesthesia for Hysterosopy?
I have to have a DNC, hysteroscopy & polyp removal on the 3rd (two days from now) due to heavy bleeding and proLOOONNNGGGed periods!!
I have been reading that doctors mostly just do these in office under local anesthesia.
Curious why mine is sending me in for general anesthesia, and thus, making this a longer process. Does he suspect something worse than he's telling me??
I have only just been reading about options, so it's too late at this time to question him. Just wondering if others out there have had to have general anesthesia over just having an in office visit.
