| Is anyone going crazy from dry, itchy skin?
Hi everyone: My skin is itching from head to toe and everything feels so dry. No matter what skin lotion or bath product I use, it doesn't help. Has anyone found something that helps? Thanks in advance. Sue

I had this real bad when i went further into peri. when people looked at me, i just said i had fleas and they went their way, lol Yes, that itchy feeling really can drive u up the wall. I literally use to scratch like a junkie. The problem is, this will happen with any sudden change in Estrogen.

Lubriderm lotion for dry skin is really good. It is unscented. I have very sensitive skin. Pat your skin dry when you get out of the shower. Put the lotion on immediately thereafter. This lotion is more expensive than others but it really works.

I use Aveeno Moisturizing Bath w/oatmeal......it really helps!!! Winter dries my skin out...being 52, I do have times where I seem to itch all over..
then it goes away for a while. Just wish I could soak my old dry face in

I used to have a lot of itchy skin problems and if I scratch, it gets worse and turns into hives. So, whatever you do - don't scratch! These days, I find that the minute I start feeling itchy, I put a cold icy compress on the area, then I use Elidel (script for ecezma). I also use Aleenvo oatmeal baths and their Skin Relief Body Wash for showers. I find putting tons of moisturizer makes a difference. I also started using DHC care products - their "olive essential set" (olive oil stuff) made my face get that glow and not have that dull dry look anymore.

I have the super itches too, and they drive me nuts. Almost like if you don't scratch it, you will go nuts.
I've tried a ton of the lotions, but they actually make me itch more.
Someone please tell me that when you get through the pre menopause stage that this will go away.
