Hi,i had chemo 4 years ago, am cancer free, but it made me go thru early menopause about 18 months ago, i missed 8 months of periods, have the blood test to confirm i was menopausal, and thought that was it, but three months ago i bled and thought it was a last period but 28 days after that another period, now another month gone by and again a period? Should i be worried about intermittant bleeding, or could my body being going backwards and regaining my periods, or is this just par for the course for the menopause, i am scared its more cancer, although i have been tested thoroughly every 4 months and i was all clear in July, it was bowel cancer. I am scared i have now got womb cancer or something, but these periods are a moth apart each time, so is it more likely not something to worry about??

I know that they warn men and women that chemo can make them infertile. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones whose ovaries with stood the chemo. It is best that you see your gync just to be sure. The peace of mind that you will get from your gync is worth the doctor bill. I hope you get in soon so you can stop worrying.
