I am 43 and last summer I had my first hot flash. Since that time I have noticed some changes happening in my body and just wondering if it could be the beginning of perimenopause? I get told alot that I am to young but these symptoms sure seem to fit. I have had annual bloodwork, my annual exam and all were normal. I haven't had any tests done on my hormone levels though.
Anyway these are what I have been experiencing over this last year, absentmindedness, more frequent headaches, allergies where none ever existed, urinary tract issues, my periods have changed (used to be every 28 days without fail, no cramps, no PMS and now that is no longer true) sleep issues, and lately night sweats. I feel like my internal thermostat is broken and it broke on the hot part. I have always been cold but not anymore now I am always hot. They are driving me crazy, I wake up soaked, then can't get back to sleep afterwards.
I take multivitimins, I am fixing to start taking cranberry tablets with vitamin C and probiotics to helpfully control the UT issues, try to watch my diet, I do cardio and lift weights at least 4 days a week. So trying to do what I can to keep myself healthy.
I am not a candidate for HRT, my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and my g grandmother had it also. I already have an increased risk for breast cancer and since research shows HRT can cause bc I am not willing to do that. So any things I can use naturally to control the symptoms? The two that bother me the most are the frequent urination and the incontinence and now the night sweats.
So anyway any input would be appreciated. I am going to see a new doctor at the end of the month since I don't feel like my doctor always understands what I am trying to tell her. If you can recommend anything vitamin or supplement wise what doseage do you use and how often?

I feel like I am going nuts.
