    painful legs..just another symptom?

Hi everyone,i haven't posted here in about a year...hope everyone is well(as well as peri and meno women can be!)I started getting very painful legs for the past couple weeks.I have tried researching on internet about menopausal connection but all i can find is "leg cramps"i don't get cramps or charlie horses..this is a constant pain that starts at the hips and goes to the ankles. The only time the pain stops is when i stand or lie down.Does anyone else have this problem?,if there is,is there a natural remedy to help(don't like relying on pain medication, which is only temporary, and doesn't take the pain totally away)Thanks so much for any help.I am 51 years old with no period for 9 1/2 months.Bitter-sweet to be back lilypad1

I have a severe case of restless leg which I attribute partly to whacky hormones. I think I have read other posts before where woman have complained of leg pain. One lady said she started to take magnessuim and her leg pain went away. You might want to try that.

It is like a creepy crawly feeling that I get whenever I am sitting or laying down. It is an extremley cringy feeling. The only way I can describe it is it that feeling some people get when they hear a finger nail on a chalkboard. A real nervy feeling. It can drive you crazy and keep you up all night. I hope the magnessium helps your legs.
