    severe facial flushing

I am almost at the end of menopause, hopefully! But one thing I am still having problems with, is severe facial flushing. My face all of a sudden gets beet red, and hot! It almost resembles a sunburn. It comes and goes, sometimes I think it is worse when I get stressed out. But there are time I can just be sitting and relaxing, and I can feel the heat in my face and here comes the redness. It is so annoying! Is anyone else bothered by this? Any suggestions?

Red face Re: severe facial flushing

    Hi Rhoda,

I just posted last week about the same exact thing. I am sitting relaxed and then boom it hits me. Not only is it just the flushing with me, I feel like an anxiety rush happens also. Almost like my blood pressure just shoots up. I thought it might be an adrenal problem. The only relief I get is to stick my head in the freezer for a few minutes and whatever you do, don't forget to grab the frozen bag of peas for your face. It helps.

    Take care,
