Leg cramps

Leg cramps anyone? I get them first thing in the morning. They don't last - usually when i first wake up and then they are gone and then I also get them in my feet too sometimes. Last time I had this, I was pregnant! I googled it and it said that peri could be the reason. I have had blood work done and all my stuff is good - cholesterol, vitamin D, blood sugar, etc. What do you think?

I have also been having chest discomfort for the last few days too - heard this might be in the mix too. please don't freak me out with your replies as I have panic and anxiety disorder too! haha

Thanks in advance!

Re: Leg cramps

Haha -you know I thought I would also add that I have acid reflux now too and have not been eating the best so that could have something to do with the chest pain! - I am NOT getting any older = this is for the birds!

Re: Leg cramps

Hi whimper71,
I just started having acid refulx too! My mother has had it for years and I'm horrified, lol! So now I take a pepcid before I eat anything spicy or sweet (my diet isn't the best either). This OTC product seems to work for me, thank God! Because I had it in my sleep even and woke choking once! Scary stuff.

Legs cramps can be anything, but as you read on the internet, it is most likely due to peri-meno. In fact I have read on this forum of other women suffering the same! Health anxiety is also a mental thing that can happen to us peri-meno women. So just try to recognize that for what it is. It's like yes we're aging, yes we going through the change of life, etc. Doesn't mean we all of a sudden have some serious disease!

Hope this helps and thank you for posting! Hang in there & keep letting us know how you're doing. In this together, ~Karen
