I am feeling so poorly for so long, please help

hi all. i have been going through the menoupase for several years now and my symptons seem to get worse and are draging me down quickley.

trying to manage the sweats and sleepless nights is one thing but now i am feeling sick many times a day to the point where i am going to vomit. due to past health problems i am not allowed hrt replacment. heart pulpitation are commom every day.

i have been to the doctors many times but with no luck and was once told to go home as im not the only person who suffers, true yes but it did not help. anyway i have ended up here were perhaps i will get the best advise and understanding.

So sorry you are feeling so badly. Many of us are in the same boat. How old are you and where are you with periods? Are you still having them? My gyno. said symptoms are mostly gone between 2 and 3 years after the last period. We just have to believe the many ladies that have gone before us and tell us that life really does get better.

Hi Klosmordu,

Welcome to the board!

Peri/meno is absolutley no fun so don't feel alone. Many of us here on the boards are having many of the same symptoms and looking for relief. Have you tried Black Cohosh for the sweats and hot flashes? It helps me alot. As far as the nausea, it usually happens to me right before a period starts. I take a tums and hope for the best.

Glad you found this board, it's been quite helpful for me.

Hang in there, you're not alone and all of us gals will get through this!!!!
