Question Small lump next to leg on the edge of scrotum sac.

I have this lump on the side of my scrotum, the right side. Its About 1cm away from the leg, so its fairly close to the leg, and not anywhere near the testicles or the glands. A few weeks ago i applied lotion,Vaseline was the brand, because my penis was rather dry, and I've done this before. I beleive a few days after that a pimple formed? I squeezed it just enough to see if there was puss, so i didnt actually pop it, but i saw a very small amount of puss starting to emerge from the middle of this. It's been about maybe 1.5 weeks to two weeks. I just realized it was still there. For the past two days in the morning, it would be like almost completely gone, then when i would get home from school it would be back to a normal size. I beleive it is just a cyst or pimple. It is not attached to the testicles or the glands but is on the side of the scrotum very close to the crotch. Like it's situated right where the sac meets the leg. I think that the cause of this is from putting lotion for dry skin down there and amplifying the oil in that air, since ventilation is minimal there and it rubbs against my leg when i walk. And also because of walking constantly during passing periods at school it aggrivates the area so it enlarges again from the morning. I also found this thread that says if its a cyst it can tend to be aggrivated if you scratch or squeeze it. And also this thing is in the vicinity of pubic hairs, and there are no hairs growing out of this spot but is surrounded by hair, and there seems to be a mass in it, very hard too. Hurts when its squeezed, but doesnt hurt when left alone or just merely rubbed. In the morning it is skin color, a tad lighter though, and when i get home it is reddish again, also the shape of it is oblong. its follows the wrinkly, and is not exactly round, but more ovalish. The other thread i found about cyst was this: . I think it is taking so long to heal because I'm still in high school and everyday i walk, and everyday it is being aggrivated. I just currently started applying an antibiotic ointment to it (something like neosporen). I haven't tried soaking it in hot water. It just concerns me about the time it is taking for it to heal. Any opinions about this would be gladly accepted. I plan to see a doctor if this persists.
