Post Persistent Itchy Foreskin! Help!

Hey, this is my first time using this board. As it stands now, I am 20, and was not engaging in sex much with my ex-girlfriend other than Oral, right until this problem occured. Alright, this has been pesistent the entire Summer, since the end of June till the present. First, I am Circumsized. On the under-side of my penis, right where the foreskin meets the bottom of the head, there is a bit of itchy skin. At first it was much worse and the skin even cracked a bit, but Neosporin combined with Hydrocortisone helped heal and stop the itch.

My mother is a nurse, and picked me up some Aloe Vesta antifungal stuff from the Hospital she works at, but the itch is still persistent. It is a bit red, and some days its bad, some days its good. When I masturbate it always flares up, so for the time being masturbation has been sporadic. I can't seem to figure out if this is a fungus or something else.

On a side note, my ex-g/f had Trichomonis, which she was treated for with an oral pill. I went to the doctor, and obtained the same 5 day pill. Could it be the pills didnt help? There was no way of knowing whether or not I had it, because the symptoms in men are rare, but for precaution the doc prescribed it to me. I know, lots of questions, but Im eager to clear this up. Thanks guys.

- Larry

Hey Larro, you have something similar to what I've been experiencing in the last couple of months. My symptoms were exactly the same as yours, but really irritating, a visit to the doctor and some cortisone helped, but it seems that it's something that just lessens in severity with time. The only thing I could suggest is a visit to a dermatologist, but he probably will just give you another cream. i found that certain types of shampoos made things worse, and particular brands of condoms used during sex also made things worse...
Don't know if this helps, it depends how freaked you are about it!
