What can one flesh colored almost invisible bump on penis be? I know about herpes but what else can it be?

Since this guy is not replying, I'd like to change this threads' direction a bit. Here's the situation:

Just yesterday, while in the shower, I started to wash my genitals. I felt a firm bump the size of a pea UNDER the skin. The bump is located between the inner side of my left leg near the back of my scrotum. It is in the crease between my leg and scrotum. Anyway, when discovered, it did not hurt. Today it feels the size of a small-medium grape and has become sensitive.

Question 1: What can it be?

I am worried. At first I thought it might be cancer. Today I'm thinking It may just be a hemmorhage that happens to be in a wierd spot!

Cancer does run in my family. But what are the chances of it getting so large in such a small period of time? I want to get it checked, but I would rather wait a little while(about a week or two). I'm hispanic. 26 years old. I have a desk job. Low stress. I do have high blood pressure (140/90, but otherwise in good health.

Question#2: I would like to have my doctor check it out, but I am very uncomfortable with this situation. What should I do?

I suspect that this is a pimple or maybe an impacted pubic hair follicle. Doesn't sound like anything cancerous to me at all. If it is a pimple it will be very painful, form a "head" and will be filled with crap like they all are. Although best to leave it alone, it can be opened and drained to relieve the pressure. If you choose to do that be sure and keep it clean and use some antibiotic ointment on it. If it doesn't resemble a pimple, then keep an eye on it and if it appears swollen or infected or if it doesn't go away in a week or so....I'd see a doc to have it checked out.
