    D & C Question

    Hi everyone,
I experienced a miscarriage at 14 weeks, and have undergone two D & C's in the past 4 weeks. The second D & C was performed due to a large hematoma (blood clot) still showing on the ultrasound.
Fast forward to today, it has been one week since my last D & C, and my most recent ultrasound shows that there is still a hematoma (though smaller) in my uterus. I am also still spotting, though not heavily at the moment.
I am concerned as I am to be traveling soon, and am wondering if anyone has experienced this, and what the course of treatment was for the hematoma (or did it disappear on its own?).
    Thanks!

    Re: D & C Question

Please see another OB/GYN Physician right away and get another opinion for treatment for your hematoma, please!
And do not travel until your Doctor clears you.It would be very dangerous for your health.
    Wish you the best.

I hope you are better now, but always inform your surgeon if your recovery is not going as expected.
