Thumbs up FYI Urinary tract infections

I read on one of the postings where someone was having the same problem I have with strarting the urine stream and kept an infection all of the time. I take one 250mg cranberry herbal extract every day. That seems to work out real good. I've only had two infections since.I've been diagnosed since july of this year, but it took 1 1/2 years for the doctors to start listening to me. Maybe this will help you.

Re: FYI Urinary tract infections

Good strategy.

My dh has MS and has several UTIs in the past few years, one progressed enough to put him into the hospital for a few days. He regularly drinks cranberry juice (from the health food store, not 'cj cocktail') diluted w/ water. It's been 15 months since his last UTI ... but he also started Copaxone after the last UTI so perhaps he's not having those minor, almost undetectable episodes that could affect his ability to void completely.
