    Lhermitte's without Cervical lesions?

I am not even sure this is what it is but at night I have been getting a shock-like sensation down one arm on the side I'm lying on when I'm falling asleep, it only happens at night. I do not have any lesions in the cervical spine. Any similarities out there or thoughts on the topic?

Well, I don't have any visible cervical lesions, but I've had L'Hermittes for 6 months. I think by definition it is that electrical shock feeling when you bend your neck forward in order to be L'Hermittes. But obviously there is SOMEthing causing your nerves to go haywire at night. Have you tried other sleeping positions?

I've had a sleep study and there was nothing conclusive. I have a lot of sleep issues, waking, kicking etc. I feel like whatever neurological process is neccessary to fall asleep is not happening properly. Thanks for your input. It sounds somewhat like lhermitte's but it doesn't happen when I move my neck.
