    Re: electrical shocks in head

If you are talking about electrical type shocks in the neck or the back of the head, its known as L'hermittes Syndrome and its common with MS although people have it who dont have MS as well..
its caused by nerves being struck when bending the head forward..
You can read more by looking up LHermittes here, on healthboards....use the search engine to help you find more info...

If you are on a SSRI and are missing doses or have stopped altogether, this may be the cause of the electric shocks in your head. This is quite different than the shocks you get when bending foward.

not sure what caused mine but like everything else it had to be the MS but mine were in my face just like touching a live 110v. but it has went away it only lasted about 3 weeks.not too bad considering. hope you find out what the cause is.could be many things causing it.a Nero can run tests and find out for you. best of luck to you. I'll keep you in my prayers

    Re: electrical shocks in head

Hi again. There is info on the web about "brain zaps." Hopefully this is what you are having because then there is a way to eliminate them. Good Luck!
