doctors can't make up their minds

I have been fighting doctors for 2 years. I started out with numbness in my right foot to that my doctor sent me to have a mri of my brain and it indicated that i had lessons. I am now on my 3rd nero doctor because everyone kept passing me to one doctor to the other. they have me taking a ton of pills but still no diagnosis. I have 24/7 spasums in all parts of my body, lots of surface numbness and other numbness. I have had a optical migrane recently, and have had intermiten double and blurred vision. I have tremmers several times a day, which seems to be getting worse exspecialy when im in pain..for example the dentist gave me a shot to numb my mouth and my body started to shake very bad. I have constant head aches and neck and back pain I do have several buldging disks in my back and neck they said. the latest test showed that I have an indicator of ms in my right eye. My last mri was done just recently of brain, neck and back and the only thing they said about it is about the disks. Im in constant pain and nothing or no one is really helping me...any advice?

Re: doctors can't make up their minds

Hi sweetie. Sounds like you have some problems going on....Im sorry for you, especially at this time of year, when we are all stressed out- this is the last thing you need.

Reading your post, I have to wonder. Whats this indicator of MS in your eye? You dont get MS in your get lesions in your brain, spine and they can be on your optic nerve (very rare)- and the ones on your brain can affect your vision and eyes...but Im not really clear on what they told you. An optical migrane can certainly present lesions- but they are much different then MS.

The fact that you had a MRI of the brain , and spine (and you said Neck?? Wasnt that the Cspine which is usually done for a MS check) and the only thing they said was disc issues, makes me agree- this isnt MS. Your symtoms are really consistent with back and neck problems..if MS lesions were present, they certainly did the right tests to pick them up.....they didnt- which doesnt suggest MS.

The spasms, tremors and numbness you mention, CAN all be related to disc issues...have you consulted someone more in the field of back pain or back orthopedics for another opinon? Listening to your post and reading your results, doesnt really sound as neurological as MS; HOWEVER it does sound like those tests were the right ones to do, to rule things out...

Whats the next step?
