    what are avonex withdrawal syptoms

    what are avonex withdrawal syptoms.

    We have lost insurance other than medicare which figures to $700 a month. We are in contact with NORD foundation but just in case we don't qualify what are the withdrawl syptoms??

    The only withdrawal symptoms I had was I had a lot more energy and felt less fatigued.There is a "800" hot-line at Avonex/Biogen you can call where they can sell you their product at a reduced price based on your income.I'm sorry I do not have that number.They probably have that number on their website.Good luck and my prayers are with you.

    You can also call MSLifelines which is the sponsor of Rebif. Rebif and Avonex are the exact same drug- REbif guarantees no more then 50$ per month for their drug....making the switch from Avonex to Rebif wont do anything to you as far as side effects, its identical drug but given 3 times a week, subcutaneously instead of into the muscle.
