Hi, my name is Heather, and I'm a 23 year old female. I would consider myself a very anxious person; I used to have panic attacks in my teens which have fortunately gone away. I still worry about everything, and right now, I am worried.
Recently, I have noticed that my hands (both of them) aren't easily doing what I tell them to do. Folding laundry, hanging up clothes, typing...all of these things are harder than they should be. It's like my fingers are suddenly slow and unable to quickly process messages. I am dropping things more frequently....the easiest way to describe it would be to say they're suddenly clumsy!
Of course, I researched this and found it to be a symptom of ALS. (

) However, I have no weakness (I squeezed the crap out of my husband's finger for about a minute earlier today), no atrophy (that I can tell), and no symptoms in any other part of my body as of now. I get an occasional twitch in my legs or face and the concessional tingle, but I don't see that as anything serious. Maybe I should?
What do you think this could be? I noticed that it started at the onset of a very stressful situation but that situation has been resolved and the anxiety has passed....so shouldn't this go away by now if it was anxiety related?
Thank you in advance for ANY help.
