Question Muscle Myopathy/Myositis

Hi - I was diagnosed with Muscle Myopathy/Myositis about 8 years ago. The doctor at the time said eventually I may get dizzy due to the neurological disorder. In the past years or so when driving....and going up or down hills, I got dizzy (like the world was moving around me) and thought I was going to pass out. As time goes by now I get the dizziness (vertigo ?) when I drive any where on any road. Can this be related to my myositis. Can anyone give me any suggestions as this is affecting my life horribly as I drive less and less and when I do feel like I'm going to pass out. Help..if you can. I appreciate it.

Re: Muscle Myopathy/Myositis

It could be, but there are many meds that help with vertigo. I would see an ENT to be sure that it isn't some inner ear issue and to get some help.
