    Not sure what this is...

Hello, first time posting here. :3 I have recently gotten this condition on my nails, and not on all of them. It's occurring on my thumbs and pinky fingers for the most part. I am not sure what it is, but if anyone could shed some light on it, if it's dangerous, etc., I would be grateful. I paint my nails every few days, but I always give them a little breathing time, and I've only had this issue for a few weeks or so, less than a month. I cut my nails perhaps once a week, going as low as I can go. It started on my pinky finger and for the longest time that was the only finger it affected, now it's on a few more. I've attached some pictures, the best pictures I could take since my phone doesn't like to focus well. These picture was taken after I cut my nails.
