Unhappy Toe nail injuries during sports.

I play tennis, which involves a lot of side to side movement. I also happen to have bone deformation that sets my outer soles lower than my inner. Every time I play tennis, I feel a burning sensation in my pinky toe. It took me a while to realize what it was: my toenail was peeling off. There were blood clots in between the new and old layers of toenail. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

You should go to a foot doctor and they can make a cast of your foot and they will make you a custom fitted implant to put in your shoes. Take the implants with you when you buy your next pair of tennis shoes and make sure it feels right in the store.

Go to a specialty sports shoe store and they will set you up. Tell them what is happening.

    Best of luck to you.
