Receding cuticle for 3 weeks

Hello!

Three weeks ago I noticed that the skin of my left pinky finger started peeling off, then my cuticle seemed dry and it started to recede about 2-3 millimiters and it doesn't look very nice. Even though it's not swollen or filled with pus, it also doesn't itch or hurt, but there's a bit of discomfort if I touch the area.

What can I do for it to heal? It's been bothering me so much!

Re: Receding cuticle for 3 weeks

It sounds like a possible injury, something in therr, a ward, or an infection.....does it look crumbly? Red?

You should see a dermatologist to be on the safe side. Initially, if I had that and couldnt get to see a doc soon, I would try tinactin.

Do you have manicures done?
