how to get gel overlays off

how to get gel overlays off natural nails? please help it has ruined my natural nails causing them to becum very soft and started to split?

You will have to soak them in nail polish remover just like you would acrylics, they will eventually come off, you will have to work at them with a piece of cotton.

I ended up having the salon take them off. I heard it's quite the process doing it yourself. I agree with you--they ruin nails. Mine are ruined also--wish I never did the gel.
