NF1 and skin cancer
 

Hi all. New here. I've had NF1 my whole life with no major issues. This past week I noticed one of the fibromas on my thigh looked bigger than normal. I was just about to end my period so I just figured maybe that's why. As the weekend came, the fibroma is bigger and now inflammed looking with redness around it. I currently don't see a NF specialist or a dermatologist. How common is it for a fibroma on top of skin to be cancer?
