Same problem. You probably need to have a nerve conduction procedure done. Apparently something is going on with your Ulnar Nervr. I know you don't know what that is. Neither did I but the doctor informed me that it is the nerve that controls the function of your ring ang pinky fingers. In my case I had a Neurofibroma sitting on my nerve. But unless you have a specific condition dealing with your nerves then its probably something else causing it. But nerve conduction should be suggested to your physician.

I have numbness but no swelling in my right pinky and ring fingers. This happened intermittently for the past few weeks but now the numbness is there all day and all night. No pain, just numb. Not much decrease in grip strength yet. I think it's because I've been playing on my portable gaming machine while lying down too much. I lift weights too and I feel I should stay with free weights because the machine weights tends to make my condition worse since it constricts my freedom of movement.
I'm going to stop gaming why lying down, will game while sitting down instead. I'm going to do these exercises for 2-4 weeks and see if it improves my condition. h
I will also wrap a towel around my arm to keep it straight while sleeping. I don't have health insurance so I will go to doctor last.
