    Neuropathy and Driving

I would like to know how many of you experience numbing and tingling of the feet and have to drive. Sometimes I feel as if I am going to miss the pedal; I live in a rural area so I have to drive to the hospital, store, clinic, shopping, etc. I went to the foot doctor and he gave me Vit B6. My primary doctor prescribed Gabapentin 300mg. I have used Nerve Anew, and other over the counter products but my feet are still the same. I am afraid of losing my independence with the neuropathy problem in my feet

Hand controls are the answer! Talk to your local mechanic or dealership about having them installed in your car. You should not be driving if you cannot feel your feet, but that does not mean you will lose your independence!
