    Recommendations for Hereditary Neuropathy

My husband is 54 and has hereditary peripheral neuropathy. He doesn't have pain but has so much numbness in his feet that he walks with a "heavy foot." His dad who is 76 has it much worse and has to wear leg braces and can almost no longer write his hands are so shaky. His brother and several uncles all have similar symptoms.

We have read about several treatments for pain but nothing about how to treat the numbness. Does anyone have experience with any of the chiropractic solutions? I am skeptical but we really want to try to find anything we can so his condition doesn't keep getting worse.

    Any ideas?
