Hypoglycemia/Low Progesterone/Thyroid Problems

I'm a 31 yr old mother of a 3 yr old. I just had a partial thyroidectomy 5 weeks ago to "cure" my hyperthyroidism that started during pregnancy. I had a toxic nodule that wouldn't respond to anti-thyroid meds. While I've had relief of thyroid symptoms, my hypoglycemia (which only began after i developed thyroid issues) is still in full effect. I've read that low progesterone can be the cause of hypoglycemia and thyroid issues. I've had low progesterone (out of normal range) for as long as I've been menstruating, but no doctor has put me on medication or the creams. Has anyone had successful "remission" of hypoglycemia after progesterone therapy? I really need advice.
