Incidental finding of a right groin lymph node of 4.5CM

I was briefly hospitalized a couple weeks ago with sepsis, I think as the result of a serious bout of cellulitis. They did an ultrasound to look for DVT in my right leg. Noted in the results was an incidental finding of a right groin lymph node measuring 4.5CM.

I saw my primary doctor for a follow up and mentioned this, he seemed rather surprised at the size, and noted in the conversation that yes it was rather large. The doctor also felt around my stomach, and put in orders for me to have an abdominal ultrasound where I need to fast from midnight onward.

I've often felt tired for maybe the past year or two, though I was just attributing it to my heart medication. Since the hospital visit I've been very tired quite frequently during the day, and have quite often returned home from work to fall asleep on the couch, which is unusual for me.

My question is this. The enlarged lymph node was in the same leg with the cellulitis. Is it normal for a lymph node in a leg with an infection to get that large? I have a follow up ultrasound in a couple weeks, but this is starting to worry me the more I read about concerns of lymph nodes larger than 1CM.

Plus, I have a familial history of cancer on my fathers' side of the family. My father died of complications from prostate cancer surgery, and my grandmother (his mother) died of metastatic cancer (had a double mastectomy, lost part of her stomach, had cancer in her lungs and esophagus). Further back then that I don't know if there was more cancer further back in my family.

Please help, feeling very worried off and on, though trying not to think much about it, but I am worried nonetheless.
