Recent ER visit - IV Fluids question
I’m new to Health Boards and looking for some advice. I’m 38, exercise a lot, eat super healthy and normally feel great!
I had to go to the ER 2 days ago, on Sun 9/13 for a bad kidney infection. Received IV fluids, antibiotics and NSAIDs while there. Sent me home on Keflex for my kidney infection and said to take Ibprofen for pain. It’s been 2 days, kidney pain is mostly gone however I am feeling breathless, a little bit congested, dizzy and like it’s harder to breath. (The dizziness may be from my antibiotics) Also I am swollen from the IV fluids which is what normally happens. I’ve read that sometimes the water weight from IV fluids can cause the congestion and feeling breathless because the water goes to your lungs. Should I be worried or is this normal?
