Question After effects of Covid 19 in toddlers

My 4 year old grandson had covid last year. He did not get seriously ill, but since that time I noticed occasionally he has a hoarse voice. Anyone know of an after effects of Covid?

    Hi,
This is first time I am hearing about hoarse voice but I heart about people having some after effects like body ache, occasionally headache, hyper acidity etc. this all may be side effects of excessive use of antibiotic in the treatment.

My 2 yr old, tested positive for covid over a month ago and her symptoms were mild with a fever as high as 101. Her temperature was up and down for roughly 14-16 days. Now over a month after testing positive she seems to run warm every now and then. Not hitting that fever temp of 100.4 though. Anyone else seeing this in their toddlers who tested positive?

It's called Covid-19 Voice. The inflammation from the infection makes the vocal cords less flexible. There can also be damage to the nerves that control the vocal cords. Even if the symptoms are mild and even if there are no symptoms.

No one knows exactly that what are the long-term effects if recovered from COVID.19. Shortness of breath is the most common effect.
