    Exclamation Where are these BRUISES coming from?
    I am beginning to recognize a strange pattern of some spontaneous excessive bruising. Last time, it was about 50 bruises (little round brown bruises) on my legs.... top and bottom.

    This time, it is my arms..... I look like I am speckled, or maybe an alien or something.

    They are all around my arms, in out, front and back.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    My blood was last checked in December.... it was fine.

    I take effexor. Could this do it?

    Here's a link for information on bruising. Apparently there are many reasons why this can happen.

    Thank you both, for your help and suggestions.

    The last time I bruised like this I was severly anemic from internal bleeding.

    So I am just a bit paranoid, I spose. I am only 28, and shouldn't be bruising as a result of aging.
    I may just need more iron.

    Just to be on the safe side I'd ask your doctor for another blood test since December was over 6 months ago.
