Question Eating Problem

I wanted to get some insight and so decided to post up here
This maybe stupid but I'm having lots of problem with this conditions.

During middle of meal, I feel like vomiting or get that feeling of throwing up. I resist this feeling, so I won't throw up. I resist by drinking water down or going to sink and letting my saliva out on the running water until my stomach calms down. It takes about 10-15 minute to calm my stomach down. Sometimes I can't resist it and do make gesture of vomiting without my will. When i do vomit, most of times nothing really comes out. This symptom had continued about 5 years now and its not pleasant to deal with when I eat something. This occurs most when I eat chessy type of food (ex. Italy or French types of food) or when I drink heavy sugar drinks, vomiting feeling comes again. When my mood is excited and my heart beats fast while I eat, it happens again. When I'm full and take one more piece or littest piece, the feeling comes back or it just happens during middle of meal. It usually starts out by coughing then leads to vomiting feeling or all in one it just feel like vomiting but I do try to resist. I did take MRI twice to see what was wrong with me. Doctor said my digestive system was okay but I still have this illness. I'm not sure if this is all in my head and my body just acts on it or if there is type of stomach virus or stomach acid that is causing this.

Thanks in advance

Re: Eating Problem

My daughter throws up easily when she coughs. She coughs when she has post nasal drip from either being sick or when her allergies are bothering her. The post nasal drip kind of gags and chokes her. She gets a lot of relief after she throws up because it clears her throat of all of the congestion. I just mentioned this because you said that it starts with coughing. She does most of this at night when she is lying down. One night she was coughing so bad that I heard her stomach contracting. It was making a slapping sound! She is much better now because we have her allergies under control but she had a whole system to try and stop the vomiting. Sometimes drinking water was part of it. Do you have post nasal drip from allergies or a sinus problems? Good luck to you this sounds like a lot of trouble for you.
