    Twitching

    Over the past couple of weeks I am noticing that my body is twitching.......sometimes very violently. Most of the time it in the lower part of my body however there are times i twitch in my arms. It seems to be getting worse. Any thoughts?

    Don't try to diagnose yourself. Get to a doctor and get an assessment. This board is good for information and compassion but it should not take the place of a complete physical examination. There are conditions other than fibromyalgia and you need to have a doctor rule them out.

    poobys right, you really need to check with a doc.

    one question though, are you on any meds? some can cause twitching.

    Hello, how are you? i understand where you are coming from with the twitching. i have noticed it for the past week and have contacted the doctor, they are not sure what is causing it, but she did take me off the prozac. i hope you find some relief. Take care
