what medication can be brought on airplane

My husband takes 11 different medications, I usually have them in a weekly pill dispenser for him. Do I have to bring all the bottles of medication or can I place the 2 weeks supply in my carryon in a weekly dispenser?

That's a little tricky. If they want to they can ask for the prescription bottle. I have asthma and have to take my inhalers. But they come in boxes so I just cut out the front of the box with the scrip label and carry them in a baggie with the inhalers. That way I have everything together in case they want to see them. Perhaps you could do that. It doesn't count as the baggie of liquids.

Get a letter from your physician(s). They can write it on a prescription pad. This is what my father does for his patients. But call you airline in advance to see what their policies are. Have a good vacation!
