Brain fog, dizziness, weird feeling for over 1 year
Hey everyone,
I’m new to this whole thing and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for the symptoms I have.
I am a 22 year old male and it all started a little over a year ago when I was playing baseball and my neck went into a terrible spasm and I was forced to lie on a couch for about 3 days without moving. A little over a month later I began to wake up almost every morning with terrible headaches and couldn’t seem to figure out what brought them on. Over time my headaches turned into constant dizziness/brain fog and I felt terrible as I was very fatigued and had a very difficult time concentrating. Here’s a list of all my symptoms I have had over the past year:
-Headaches (on and off)
-Dizziness, not vertigo but more like a drunk, woozy, rocking motion (similar to being on a boat I guess). (I use to be an excellent basketball player but now I don’t even want to play because I feel so weird and dizzy when I do)
-Bad light sensitivity (squint really bad when I am outside on a bright sunny day)
-Pounding in the head (especially when I lie down to sleep, It feels like my heartbeat is in my head)
-Fatigue/Lethargic
-Neck soreness
-Back stiffness
-Problems concentrating
The weird thing about this whole ordeal is that the symptoms seem to come and go. Some weeks I will feel terrible and then other weeks I will feel great and have almost no symptoms except for a small amount of dizziness. The only problem is that the symptoms never seem to completely disappear. I have had a CT scan of my head and blood work done and it all has come back negative. I have also seen an ENT specialist and he said I do not have an inner ear disorder. The doctor says I am fine and I have almost come to the conclusion that this is something I am going to have to live through but if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear what you have to say.
thanks for taking the time
