Can someone please tell me how tryptophan works and how much is a low dose??

Just curious about how tryptophan works. Is it the same as an SSRI/SNRI??

Also, is there withdrawal from the amino acid when you discontinue it??

How much is a low dose, medium, high??

Can this supplement cause liver toxicity if I take too much??

Tryp is converted to niacin so should I be taking a B complex with it?? Could this be too much niacin???

Been on 2500 mg for over a year now for SNRI protracted withdrawal.

Can anyone please help with these questions??
