spasm on the back of the neck and upper back.

Severe spasm in both areas, it gets stronger as I sleep waking me up. feels like blood or oxygen not getting to the brain. After 5 min afterwaking up body relaxes and breathing becomes normal. I sleep on the side of my body. If I sleep on the R it gets stronger.Produces a strange sensation into my head. No pain just the sensation results elevated blood pressure. Anyone knows about this symptoms?

hi

i had the same problem i was in a crash 9 weeks ago and i get bad musle spasms at night and during the day i am in physio for injuries from the crash and i was told to put allot of heat on the area directly before sleep and when i feel it coming on also i was told to rest and make sure not to do any heavy lifting. my physio put electros on my back (you know those stomach belts people use to get musles it feels like that) this really helped it released the traped musles and it really helped with the pain i had this done on Tuesday and i have got much better sleep since.
