    Mederma cream (over counter) helps to lighten scars, makes them less noticeable. Does take time for scar to appear less visible.

    Depends what kind of scars. If they have keloid, they have to be removed. If scars from scabs peeling, cocoa butter works, but you have to apply it religiously. I had a lot of scars from picking at mosquito bites and cocoa butter did it for me- the stick kind.
