    High Ferritin levels

    Hello I am new here hope I am doing things correctly.
    I have just been told I have high Ferritin levels 281, I am just wondering if there are any diet tips to help lower this,
    I eat very healthy, have stopped drinking.also waiting on doctors to get back to me as what treatment blood letting? I am going to get
    was diagnosed in january with Hep C then end of march told the first tests were wrong only had antibodies no active virus, then this week a call to say second test was wrong do have HepC, alyhough Virus load low.
    Fibro Scan showed moderate fibrosis, ultra sound came back normal.
    Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
