Continuous burning in chest
Over the last few months, I've had a burning feeling in my upper chest. I've taken medication for acid reflux, but that's not helping. The last few days the burning has been almost constant. Also, have a mild like rash. Any advice?

Chest burning usually points out at acid and yes it can be on the upper chest. Rash I'm not familiar with :-( However, when the body becomes too 'heaty' (i.e. the acid component goes up significantly), this may lead to acne like rashes. 'cooling down' (taking foods that are mild like foods cooked with coconut milk, coriander, melon, bananas, etc.) eventually gets rid of them. This is all I can think of.... :-(

What kind of medication did you take? If you're relying on tums, they can create a rebound effect - you're feeling acid so you eat some tums and take the acid out of your stomach, so your body goes to work creating even MORE of it because it really needs it to be there to digest your food. The doctor can give you something more effective if you're having long-term reflux issues.
