Big toe won't bend after ankle surgery

Has anyone had this problem. I had ankle surgery 2 months ago in which I broke 2 bones (tibia/fibula). Since then, I have had problems bending my big toe. I am not in pain but my big toes only bend when I push it down. My big toe wiggles a little bit but will not bend own it's own. I started weight bearing on walking boot 2 weeks and go to doctor tomorrow. I should b starting therapy really soon. I will find out tomorrow. Should I be concern or patient due the seriousness of injury? Will physical therapy help this situation? Thank you in advance for responding to question and speedy recovery to all. The BEST is yet to come

I have similar problems to you! I had ankle surgery 4 weeks ago. I know it's early days but I cannot bend down my toes! What did the doctor say? Are you able to do it yet?

Hope your recovery's going well!
