    Hip\Groin muscle pain

I'm a 39\m and about four weeks ago I've been having minor pain issues in my right front hip and groin muscle area. Most of the time it only bothers me when walking. It has not impaired my range of motion that I can detect. When it first started I was just walking and felt a minor stabbing pain in my groin muscle which still happens periodically. I should note I was doing kicks, lunges, and squat type exercises prior, however it was nothing I haven't done before and I didn't feel any pain when doing it, so it may not be related. Any suggestions on what it could be and the proper treatment would be appreciated. Thanks.
