    Can Pain meds reduce sperm count???

    Hi, my wife and I are planning for a baby and I've tested my sperm count and it is low.

    I take Elavil 50mg a day, Topamax 400mg a day, Oxycotin 40mg a day, Ultram 400mg a day, Klonopin 1.5mg a day, St John's Wort and 5-HTP. I take these meds for cronic nerve pain. Does anyone know if taking a cocktail of meds like this is often likely to cause a low sperm count?

    I do know that taking opiates long term will lower your bio-available testosterone.I had mine checked and sure enough it was low.Now I get a testosterone shot once a month.......Dave
