flector patch and lidocaine patches falling off?????

I have tried everything I can thinnk of to keep them on my back but they keep rolling up and making my clothes sticky. I have tried athletic tape and first aid tape, I will not spend $13 for 4 dura something things to make them stick.

any other ideas, if I lay down and do not move for 12 hours they stay on, but that is not an option for me.

I had the same issues with the lidocain patches ,my Dr. suggested cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol first it has helped them to stick better.

Contact the manufacturer of the patches and see if they offer something to help their patches stay on better.

The Duragesic manufacturer offers free bioclusive overlay to help keep their patches on. You can get Tegaderm OTC, but it is very expensive. Which is why I recommend calling your patch manufacturers in hopes they may supply something for free.

I use the Tegaderm that you can get from any retail drug store, you get a box of 5 for like $6 bucks and they work great, I swim every day and never have a problem with fentanyl patch staying on.
