where to find 30mg oxycodone in pinellas county shortage

It's not just a Pinellas County shortage, it is a nationwide shortage. I suggest that you speak to your doctor about a substitution until this situation is resolved. Up until this month, the shortage had not affected my area as I had no problem getting my script filled. However, I picked up my script today and had to go to 5 different pharmacies before I was able to find someone who had them in stock.

My regular pharmacy stated that they would not be getting any until the end of May. So, I called my doctor to discuss what we could do for next month. He said if I could find the 15 mg, he would just double the quantity, otherwise he would give me the 40 mg oxycontin for a temporary fix.

Your doctor should be willing to do the same thing for you, so that you don't go through withdrawls and so that your pain can be treated.

Hi Money, I am also in FL and there has been a shortage of 15mg oxycodone's since last year. Last month I found 30mg that I cut in half at Target, but now everybody is out. Also, in our area, pharmacies will not tell you over the phone if they have it because of all the armed robberies. EVEN if you have been to that pharmacy before. I called mine and they said they had nothing with oxycodone in it at all, but when i went there in person they had it. So like Liz said, I had to see my doc and have him write me a new script. I went from 15mg Oxycodone to 3/4 of a 20mg Oxycontin crushed, and 10mg Percosets. They have those in Manatee County Walgreens. Good luck!
