Re: Possible change from Vicodin to Oxymorphone NEED HELP PLEASE!

I have had good results with Opana ER. I started at 5 mg and then titrated up to 20 mg. I just had surgery and in the hospital they used MS Contin (as they were not as familiar with Opana ER). Next week I will be going back to Opana ER at I think the 30 mg level. With that I will have Norco 7.5 for breakthrough pain and a muscle relaxant. Unfortunately since I just had a L3-S1 fusion I can not take aspirin, aleve, advil, ibuprofen, naproxen, etc for at least 6 months so I may have to adjust my Opana ER or Norco up a bit if what I transition to next week doesn't work as well as we hope.
    Rt thumb fusion '13. R&L thumb arthroplasty '12 ; RT TKR & Bilat CTS' 11. Fusions: L5-S1('87), L4-S1('93), C5-C7('06), L3-S1('10), C4-C5('13). C5-C7 foraminotomy '08
