    dihydrocodeine itch, prescribed fexofenadine

hi i am taking dihydrocodeine for pain and and experiencing very bad itching all over, not as bad as tramadol was for me iirc but it's pretty bad

i have been prescribed fexofenadine 180mg earlier today to combat the itch, it says on the label to take one a day

basically, i'm still really itching many hours after my last dose of dihydrocodeine and i need to take some more dihydrocodeine now and i would like to know if it is ok to take more fexofenadine than 180 mg once a day to see if it helps

if anyone could advise me i would be most grateful as i am unable to speak to my doctor until monday (it's thursday now)

thanks in advance for any help
