    Tramadol and night sweats

I am waiting for surgery for a complete tear of the rotator cuff
I take 2 Tramadol going to bed and another 2 half way through the night. It just takes the edge off the pain really...but I'm noticing bad night sweats. Has anyone else experienced this?
I can't take NSAIDS due to gastric reflux...what would be an alternative to Tramadol?
    Thanks

Hello, the only other alternative that i know of would be narcotic pain relievers, hydrocodone,it comes in 5,7 and 10 mg.
