    Smile Panic and Me

I have had panic disorder and agoraphobia for many years. I'm actually 64 and have had this illness since I was eight years old. I have taken a variety of different antidepressant's, the one that helped the most was Paxil. It seems as I get older the panic worsens. At the moment, I am not on any meds and I can tell it too. Recently, I have been diagnosed with bi-polar so I know I need to get on some kind of medicine before I go into the deep depression, or until I get really hyper.

How come you aren't on any medication now, especially after just being diagnosed with bipolar?

I guess just not making that appointment, but I know I most. I definitely need it especially since I'm bi-polar. I do need something to help keep me calm for my panic too.

Hi Candy, I hope you will seek help soon. I'm sure the agoraphobia probably keeps you from wanting to go anywhere. But this is the only way you can help yourself get better. Let us know how you are doing. StarGlitter
